Hello John,

I just wanted to write and to say that we had the most wonderful two weeks holiday in Turkey on your flotilla.

The country and its people are lovely, the weather was prefect, I loved my first sailing adventure and Nar was a wonderful yacht to start out on.

However the whole holiday experience was encapsulated by our totally fantastic “Lead Crew”. Ipek especially is a very unique person with very special qualities. She has an amazing ability to read people and to react to their needs accordingly. She  gave no less than 100% for every day of the holiday ( and I am aware that we were holidaying towards the end of a long season), had a smile on her face all day and absolutely nothing was too much trouble for her. She possess a wonderful sense of humour which comes as no surprise. Also a wonderful sense of tact.  I do believe you and your bride were “The Honeymoon Couple” for our second week? ( another guest told me this).

Let this not detract from Silar who is the perfect “other half”.  He possess the same hard working, nothing is too much trouble, happy smiley person, attitude as Ipek.  They seem to me a rare pair and you are very lucky/clever to have them.

I very much hope that we will holiday with you all again in the future, possibly not next year as we have a son getting married in Australia but maybe in 2013.

Just back from our third Seafarer flotilla holiday, our first in Turkey (11 – 17 September 2011), but probably not our last.  Skipper Ipek and her mate, Silar, were absolutely first class.  Always smiling and helpful, with lots of good suggestions for lunch stops and help with vegetarian meal options.  The usual mix of interesting flotilla companions, wonderful weather and good gentle winds.  Our yacht, Geolina, behaved herself beautifully and we have some wonderful memories of quiet bays, warm seas and gorgeous scenery.  A huge thank you to Ipek and Silar for making our holiday special.  We will be back!

Just got back from a brilliant week with Ipek and Cila in Turkey, they where fantastic – a real credit for flying the Seafarer flag, nothing too much trouble and always smiling and making sure we where all looked after.

So, just to say, thank you to them for working so hard to give all the crews an enjoyable week.

Finally, I would like to return again for another flotilla (price dependant) on the 17th September for a week on a 32′ er, just 2 passengers from Bristol. please let mw know what the best price is and see if we can get this booked.

I just wanted to let you know that we enjoyed a truly excellent holiday, thank you very much.

All of the arrangements worked flawlessly, the hotel was fine, and the sailing was excellent with a superb lead crew , an interesting route and a lovely boat (Tombo) which sailed well and which we found to be in a good and well-maintained condition. Every aspect of the trip was great from start to finish.

We have just returned from a 2 week flotilla holiday in Turkey, October 3^rd – 17^th 2009. This was a really fantastic holiday, the best ever. We have never done a flotilla before as my husband was in to sailing but I was not too keen but this holiday was so different. You can go at your own pace and sail as long or as short as you wish with the full support of the lead boat. We made friends with some really nice people, who we are now meeting up with next October in Turkey, we have all booked again and we are have also booked for 3 weeks in Greece in May 2010 all with Seafarer.

The Skipper, Ipek was absolutely marvellous, organised, efficient and very professional, she was at the end of a long season, yet she was always happy, patient and willing to help should you need it. Cila the engineer was fantastic also, he was always at hand to help at all the moorings and would  deal with anything you may require with a smile. Fran the hostess made the evenings very enjoyable by organising the meals and restaurants etc so everyone could get together, this made the holiday so sociable. Ipek and Cila are a credit to Seafarer, safety and professionalism were always apparent but they also were approachable and joined in  the evenings and worked very hard to make sure we all had a wonderful holiday, we did and thanks to them, we will be doing lots more holidays with Seafarer.

The Turkey flotilla was very enjoyable, visiting lots of lovely coves, marinas and towns all very different and no 2 days were the same. We saw a side to turkey that we never imagined, the people were very friendly and hospitable, I would not do Marmaris again as too noisy and commercial but everywhere else was just beautiful.

The boat (Lily) was in beautiful condition, very clean and with everything there you could want, having the navigation equipment made it so easy to find the next destination.

We would recommend this kind of holiday and Seafarer to anyone who has wanted to try sailing holidays but where you are not alone all holiday, you can sail all day then meet up at night, socialise and make new friends, like we did and have a great holiday.

We are now looking forward to our next 2 holidays with Seafarer

We had a great holiday. The arrangements you made went as planned and the hotel was perfect – we would have no hesitation in staying there again.

This was our first flotilla holiday but we aim to do it again next year.
