Many thanks for sorting out the transport and hotel in Athens. We spent most of the day at the new Acropolis Museum as it was just a 2 minute walk from the hotel. The roof garden was a perfect spot to sit and enjoy the Acropolis itself.

We’re not sure how it happened but we were amazed and delighted to be offered an up-grade to a Cat. A cabin. The Ship Manager’s explanation was that Seafarer had been their longest/best customer and they had spare capacity on the A deck. If you played any part in this then please accept our gratitude as it added greatly to our enjoyment of the cruise. We thought Galileo, all her crew and the overall itinerary were excellent in every respect. The other passengers were great fun and we’ve made some good friends.
