Share a Sail Reviews
Now been back a week after holidaying on the Christiana VII, Share a Sail Cyclades, 12th June – 26th June. Although the sun is shining in the UK, we wish we were still in Greece.
I believe in this country we are always quick to complain, and don’t give credit where it’s due. So this is just a note to say what a great concept the Share a Sail is. We’ve holidayed before on flotilla basis (inc Saronic Gulf with Seafarer) but didn’t feel we had the experience to undertake a bareboat holiday in the Cyclades, an area we really wanted to explore. This holiday delivered exactly what we had hoped for – fantastic area of Greece we’d not seen before, great company and above all the opportunity to be as hands on as wanted to be. As a result we both feel we have increased our sailing experience. Now looking forward to going back on flotilla next year.
Skipper and host – John and Colette – what can we say. They made what would have been a good holiday a fantastic holiday – we hope Seafarer appreicate what an asset this couple is to the company. Breakfasts and lunches were superb (and I’m a fussy eater!). Nothing was too much trouble for John and Colette, and it’s the little touches that make something ordinary, into something special – bottle of wine on our wedding anniversary, barbeque lunch on Malcolms birthday – it was a holiday we will never forget.
Also thanks to Suzie Honey who handled our booking – always a pleasure to speak to someone so bubbly.
many thanks
